Once a drug has containers and entries associated with it the drug cannot be removed. If you no longer carry the drug that is listed in your logbook, you can deactivate the drug.
- This can be done by going to Create Inventory under Settings, click on the drug name to open, and select the Deactivate Inventory Item
- Please note that first, you will need to reconcile all items (archive pending logs) for this drug. Once this is done you will then go to Manage Containers under Manage Inventory and Finish any open containers. You can do this without making an adjustment on them
- Additionally, deactivated drugs can be selected in the audit report
In the future, if you carry that drug again, it can be reactivated.
- This will be done by going to Create Inventory under Settings, clicking on the drug name to open, and selecting Activate Inventory Item
