Once a drug has containers and entries associated with it, the drug cannot be removed. If you no longer carry the drug that is listed in your logbook, you can deactivate the drug.
You will want to reconcile all items for this drug. Once this is done, you will then go to Manage Containers under Manage Inventory and finish any open containers. You can do this without making an adjustment on them.

Once all items have been reconciled and all containers have been marked as finished
  • Go to Create Inventory under Settings
  • Click on the drug to open
  • Select the Deactive Inventory Item

  • Enter a comment as to why the drug needs to be deactivated
  • Enter a signature

Note that inactive inventory items will still be available under "Audit" in order to generate an audit report. They will also be visible within the logbook drop-down menu, below the teal line and they will have an inactive status.
